Recurring newsletters are automated email campaigns that are sent on a regular schedule (specific days of the week at a selected time) without requiring you to manually create and send each one. Once set up, they pull in fresh content and use predefined templates, ensuring your audience receives consistent, timely communication while reducing ongoing work for your team.
Setting up a Recurring Newsletter

Go to VIP Club > Automated Emails > Recurring Newsletter.

The Recurring Newsletter page is setup very similarly to a regular email blast. At the top of the page, enter your Subject Line.

The default Subject Line is Recurring Newsletter. Update it to match your station’s branding.

Build Your Newsletter

Enter the body of your newsletter, just like you would for a regular VIP Club email.

You can include text, images, links, and sponsored content to increase engagement.

Include Fresh Content Automatically
Use the vipclub-recent-posts shortcode to automatically pull in posts from a selected category.

Specify how many posts to include and which category to pull content from

Content is pulled in at the time the newsletter is sent, ensuring your audience always sees the most recent content.

Choose a Template
If you have multiple templates available in your VIP Club, select one from the Template dropdown to control the look and feel of your newsletter.

Select Subscriber Lists
In the Lists to Send section, choose which subscriber lists should receive the recurring newsletter.

Schedule Delivery

Pick the days of the week and the time of day you want the newsletter to send.

On each selected day, the newsletter will be sent automatically to your chosen subscriber lists.

Test Your Newsletter

Enter your email address in the Test This Email field.

Click Send Test to receive an immediate preview in your inbox.

Enable Your Recurring Newsletter
Once your setup is complete:

Check the Enable Recurring Newsletter box at the top of the page and click Save.

Your newsletter will now send automatically on the schedule you configured.
